Unity Park Community Garden events

Unity Park Community Garden events will take place on the first Saturdays of every month from April to October.

The first of these educational sessions will take place at 8 a.m. with Master Gardener Volunteers available to answer questions. Educational sessions about food crops begin at 9 a.m. followed by a native plant session.

Swing into Spring

Robin’s Nest Children’s Advocacy Center of Caldwell County invites you to “SWING INTO SPRING,” 6-11 p.m., at Cedar Rock Country Club in Lenoir. Tickets are $75 each and include the dinner buffet with music by Ranger Tucker and then dancing the night away to the music of FraXured. Attendees may also participate in Eggstravaganza as well as purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win one of four vacation trips. Celebration of Life

The 2023 Celebration of Life, an annual event that honors Caldwell County residents who are 60 years of age or older, will take place at Mountain Grove Baptist Church (2485 Connelly Springs Rd, Granite Falls). Planned activities include information booths, door prizes, entertainment, and a nutritious hot lunch. This event and free open to the public.
