Kendele Lauren Moore of Fuquay-Varina and Matthew Bryan Daniel of Louisburg were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2020, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Hudson. The Rev. Wesley Mills of Knoxville, Tennessee, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Keith and Jennifer Moore of Lenoir and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Melvin J. Gray of Granite Falls and Mrs. Frances Moore and the late Smith D. Moore of Hudson.

The bridegroom is the son of David and Nancy Daniel of Summerville, Georgia, and the grandson of the late James and Barbar Daniel of Summerville and Bob and Hilda Reynolds of Lyerly, Georgia.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a formal gown of ivory-beaded motifs designed by Maggie Sottero. Swarovski crystals adorned the bodice. The dress featured an illusion back and halter neckline. A tiered tulle and Marquice Organza skirt with horsehair edging completed the fit-and-flare silhouette. Crystal Buttons accented the entire back of the dress. The bride’s shoes were hand-painted to look like a pencil with “Mrs. Daniel” painted on the side. The bride carried a bouquet of dahlias, white roses and spray roses, button mums, snapdragons, silver dollar eucaplyptus, lisianthus and blue thistle.

Mrs. Erica Tucker of Vinemont, Alabama, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Catherine Gordon of Dunn, friend of the bride, and Mrs. Sara Mayberry of Asheville, friend of the bride.

Attendants wore dusty blue dresses with an asymmetrical bodice featuring delicately pleated panels with a one-shoulder twisted knot detail and a softly gathered A-line skirt. They carried bouquets of dahlias, white roses and spray roses, button mums, snapdragons, silver dollar eucalyptus and lisianthus.

David Daniel, father of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Daniel of Rome, Georgia, and Andrew Daniel of Summerville, Georgia, brothers of the groom. Ushers were Matt Tucker of Vinemont, Alabama, brother-in-law of the bride; and Alex Mills of Knoxville, Tennessee, Pate Council of Camiolla, Georgia, and Sam Jones of Tifton, Georgia, all friends of the groom.

Sign bearer was Master Everett Daniel of Rome, Georgia, nephew of the groom.

Music was provided by pianist Karen Wilson of Hudson.

Wedding planner was Taylor Folks of Weddings by Taylor Folks of Cullman, Alabama.

The groom’s parents were host of the rehearsal dinner in the fellowship Hall at Mount Zion Baptist Church.

The bride’s parents were hosts of the dinner reception at Red Cedar Farm in Granite Falls.

The bride graduated as the valedictorian of West Caldwell High School in 2010 and is a 2014 summa cum laude graduate of Campbell University with a bachelor’s degree in history. She is employed with Wake County Public Schools at Fuquay-Varina High School.

The bridegroom is a 2010 graduate of Chattanooga High School and graduated from Baldwin Agriculture College in 2013 with an associate’s degree in family and consumer science and in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in rural studies. He is a 2020 graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest currently serving as the pastor at Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church in Louisburg.

After a honeymoon to the North Carolina mountains, the couple resides in Louisburg.
