Four people were injured in a wreck on Taylorsville Road Monday afternoon.
Their names were not released. They were taken to Caldwell Memorial Hospital, Trooper T.H. Rathbone of the N.C. Highway Patrol said. No information about the nature of their injuries was available.
The wreck occurred shortly before 12:45 p.m. when a driver of a white 1996 Toyota on Station Road failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Taylorsville Road, Rathbone said.
The driver of a red Chrysler heading toward Lenoir on Taylorsville Road swerved left of center to avoid the Toyota and collided with a silver Subaru that was headed toward Taylorsville, Rathbone said.
