GRANITE FALLS — On Thursday, Oct. 14, a nuisance residence supplying illegal narcotics to the residents of Caldwell, Burke and Catawba counties was raided by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and ICE Unit.

The search warrant was executed at 1030 Fence Street in Granite Falls. The suspects, Jarvis Ledon McCullough, 40, and Jessica Marie McMahon, 35, were taken into custody, according to a press release from the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities searched the home and vehicles on the property and located approximately 8 grams of cocaine and approximately $4,900 in cash.

As a result, both residents were charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and one count of maintaining a dwelling to keep/store a controlled substance and were incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a secured bond. McCullough is currently on probation from a prior narcotics conviction in 2020.

At the time of their arrests, both suspects were out on bond from a prior incident that occurred at their residence. In September 2021, a search warrant was executed at the same residence. During that incident McCullough and McMahon were both arrested on similar drug charges, the release stated.

“If they keep selling drugs in Caldwell County, we’ll keep arresting them,” said Sheriff A. Jones.
