Frances Diane Walsh, 59, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, from COVID-19 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. She was born June 9, 1961, in Caldwell County to the late James A. Walsh Sr. and Dorothy Smith Walsh. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, James A. Walsh Jr.; and one sister, Martha Carver.
Frances “Miss Frawl” was friendly, loving, always made friends easily, and most importantly never met a stranger. She never cared about politics, racism, hate, or jealousy, she was made purely of love. She enjoyed singing, coloring, and especially stickers. She will be remembered for her unique ability to lift the spirits of others and always having a smile on her face. If you were fortunate enough to know her, you were truly blessed. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. While we mourn the loss of Frances on Earth we know that today Heaven is a little brighter with her there.
Those left to cherish her memory include four sisters, Patty Sue Watson, Elizabeth Triplett and husband Roger, and Anna L. George, all of Lenoir, and Sharon Henson and husband Billy of Valdese; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends at Food Lion, Creekside Finance, and The Hartley Family.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Ron Burgett.
Due to COVID-19, face masks and social distancing will be required.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Caldwell UNC Health Care for the exceptional care provided to Miss Walsh.
