Kenneth loved life. Kenneth was a fourth-generation member of St. Paul AME Church. He was actively involved at church, where he helped with fundraisers and sang in the choir. His favorite song to sing was “It is well with my soul.” He graduated from NCCU and then from Gallaudet College in Washington. Kenneth became a counselor at the N.C. School for the Deaf. Toward the end of his career, he also worked for Caldwell Vocational as a rehab technician. Kenneth actively participated in the N.C. Prison Ministry. He loved family, friends, his two fur babies (Penny and Kiki), church events, baking cakes, but most of all, he loved the Lord. He was the backbone for the family and always made sure that family was important. He was an outstanding man, brother, uncle and friend.
There will be a memorial service at a later time to celebrate Kenneth’s life.
